It was an absolute pleasure to be Danica and Jonny’s Gravetye Manor Wedding photographer. I used to work with Danica years ago, so it was even more wonderful to see her happy, and to capture their amazing day.
Danica and Jonny are a blind-date success story. She had been friends with Jonny’s sister Mel for years, so when her brother became single she decided to play cupid…. she invited lots of friends over for dinner (including Danica and Jonny)… and it worked! Jonny is a true gent, and has three children
Gravetye Manor is a stunning old house near East Grinstead, built in 1598, and in the late 1800’s belonged to one of the greatest gardeners of all time, William Robinson. Thankfully the stunning gardens have been maintained, and were full of bright colourful tulips and magnolia trees on their wedding day. The food during the reception was outstanding, so I highly recommend visiting their Michelin Star restaurant.
In the evening the guests were hilarious on the dance floor, and a couple of them were dancing so hard they actually took off into the air (see the final shot below)!! You know you’re having fun when you actually become air bound….!!
“Jen recently did the photography for our wedding. Being rather camera shy, my husband and I were made to feel at ease by Jen during our pre wedding shoot and the results were fantastic so we were looking forward to the results from the big day itself. We were not disappointed. So professional all the time and very happy to chat away to your guests and blends in like a guest so you don’t notice that she’s clicking away with her camera. The final results….well we were absolutely thrilled. Not only did we receive the online link but we received a beautiful display box with a USB stick, some printed photos and a couple of chocolates. A fantastic finishing touch to what has been a great experience and we can’t thanks Jen enough for capturing our most perfect day. Thank you! X”
