Kerry and Richard chose a stunning period townhouse on the seafront, Angel House, for their Brighton Wedding venue. It was every bit as elegant as I had expected from this effortlessly stylish couple.
When we met a few months before for their pre-wedding shoot they expressed their nerves about being in front of the camera, however on the day (as you can see) they OOZED confidence and glamour!!!! We took full advantage of the great location of Angel House, and following the ceremony all of the guests headed across the road to the beach for group and family photographs, wobbling around on the pebbles in high heels, and watching out for any low-flying sea gulls (I’m pretty sure they stalk out wedding guests in an attempt to ruin their outfits!).
By the time we had returned the staff had transformed the ceremony room into the wedding breakfast, and we were served hands-down one of the best wedding meals I’ve ever had. This is certainly a venue that ticks a lot of boxes, including amazing catering! They also have a huge room on the top floor for the couple to stay in, and being just minutes from central Brighton there is lots of accommodation available nearby for guests.
For the evening party we jumped into a Big Red Bus, which gave a tour past the Pier and Brighton Pavilion, before dropping the guests off at The Hilton Hotel. Completing what was certainly a perfect winter wedding in Brighton. It was an absolute pleasure to capture, and I wish Kerry and Richard a future of happiness (and continued glamour!)… Kerry, can I get some tips?!
