Bluebell Woods Engagement Shoot ~ Samantha & Ian

Blackbrook Woods near Ditching is a carpet of blue in Spring, creating a beautiful setting for Samantha and Ian’s bluebell woods engagement shoot.

Ian was feeling a tad nervous about having his photo taken, so this was the perfect place to help him feel more relaxed. Lots of people don’t feel comfortable about having their photo taken, especially by a stranger, and this is one of the main benefits for having a pre-wedding shoot. It gives us the opportunity to get to know each other better, and an hour later I’m no longer a stranger! And cuddling up with a Samantha on a tree log seemed to help him a lot too!!

I feel blessed to live in a place surrounded by gorgeous countryside, and the day before had seen a gorgeous field full of yellow rapeseed at the top of Ditching Beacon, so after the bluebell woods we headed off for a little drive for the final couple of shots. I gave them more distance in this field to kiss and cuddle whilst I snapped away, isn’t the bright blue sky against the yellow field stunning?!
