Martyn and Rebecca are locals and chose to brave the windy seafront for their Brighton engagement shoot, despite it causing Rebecca’s hair to whip Martyn in the face constantly!
Martyn loves the pier arcade, and in particular the 2p machine (y’know, the one that pushes the money over the edge, like the game show Tipping Point). So we headed into the arcade for a break from the wind, and for them to make their millions in 2 pennies. By the look on glee on Martyn’s face you would think they had! When it all got a bit too windy on the seafront we wandered off into the north lanes to hunt down some interesting graffiti instead.
I completely understand his love for the 2p machine though. As a child I once spent the whole of my £2.50 pocket money that was supposed to last the week holiday within the first hour of arriving on the campsite, on my discovery of the arcade and 2p machine. Oh the telling off I received for that one when I arrived back to the caravan empty handed. And so began my love/addiction to the 2p machine 🙂
Martyn and Rebecca are getting married soon at the Court Garden Farm vineyard in Ditching, and want to keep everything local, including the caterers, the florist (Poison Ivy in Ditching), and me of course!
