Being a new mum myself I completly understand the desire to capture every moment of your child’s life, so I was delighted to receive a booking to photograph such a special occasion- Sebari’s Brighton first birthday party. The party was held at The View, located right on the seafront near the Hove Lagoon.
Sebari is a beautiful and stylish little girl, and rocked up a Ted Baker party dress, with matching shoes and snowsuit. In true fashionista style she also arrived (very) late to the party! But then again it does take time to look that good….
Her parents had made such a heart warming effort to throw her the best party possible. The booked Mr Bubble for entertainment, and hired a Bouncy Castle and Trampoline to keep the older party kids happy. She had two beautiful cakes, lots of sweets and treats, and gorgeous gold confetti filled balloons (noted for my daughters Brighton first birthday party next February!).
What do you do for your birthday parties? Do you go out for the day as a family to a favourite soft play, or do you prefer to hire a venue (so that someone else can do the tidying up afterwards?!), or do you like having a traditional party at home, complete with Pass The Parcel and Musical Bumps?
As a child most of my parties were at home and I had a great time, so I think we’re going to do the same for Eva’s party in February. Sadly summer garden parties will never be possible, so we’ll have to keep the numbers low to fit into our little house, and be prepared to scrub cake and crisps out of the rug afterwards! Still, it’s all worth it to see their happy little faces isn’t it?
If you have any party recommendations or tips, or if you’d like to book me for your child’s Brighton first birthday party, I’d love to hear from you!
