Last June I married the love of my life, the man of my dreams. It truly was the best day of our lives so far, and has only heightened my love for weddings and for photographing that life changing event for others. I look at my photographs of our wedding day with such love and a renewed appreciation. Having experienced what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera, I have a greater understanding at how important it is to choose the right photographer for you. There are so many talented wedding photographers out there at the moment, and they all express themselves differently through the images they create, so you need to think carefully about who you choose. And if that means going over budget (as we did) then so be it! It is well well worth it! We chose the wonderful Jackson and Co photography, and love every one of the images the created.
To celebrate our union we headed off on the road trip of a lifetime, to California and Hawaii. Starting in San Francisco we drove (in a convertible Mustang no less!) to Yosemite National Park, then to Joshua Tree. We then flew over to Kauai island (the most northern and green of the Hawaiian islands) where i swum amongst turtles and shared the beaches with wild chickens and seal monks… heaven. The three weeks were finished off for a few days in LA.
