Lisa and Stuart eloped to Brighton for an intimate and relaxed wedding in Brighton Town Hall, with only their children and Lisa’s brother as guests. I love photographing small weddings, and this is the smallest to date!
Having previous intended on having a large traditional wedding next year, it in fact took place on New Years Eve and was planned in only a matter of weeks, because in Stuart’s words ‘I wanted to start the new year as I mean to go on, with Lisa as my wife and our new family all together’. Having met each other only a couple of years ago, and both with daughters from previous relationships, this small and bubbly family were a delight to get to know, and the love Lisa and Stuart have for each other was clear for us all to see. Having such a small and relaxed wedding meant that they kissed, laughed and smiled at each other and their daughters throughout the whole ceremony (there was certainly no need to prompt them for the first kiss!!).
Following the late afternoon ceremony at Brighton Town Hall we quickly dashed to the Pier to catch the last of the light for some more snaps, and boy it was cold!!!! But nothing, even Brighton’s chilly sea breeze, could dampen their sheer joy or wipe the huge smiles off their faces!
