I love a London wedding! The city has a buzz that is hard to find elsewhere, so i was delighted to hop on the train and head off to London to photograph the fun and laughter filled wedding of Elli and Charlie.
The day started in the pub (as any good ol’ London wedding should!) with Charlie and his guests. The pub was walking distance to Marylebone Town Hall, where Elli and Charlie walked down the aisle together, which i think is a lovely alternative to being traditionally ‘giving away’. Everyone then piled onto a red Routemaster London Bus, with a dustbin full of booze in hand, which took everyone to the reception via Regent’s Park for photographs. However the park was far bigger and more complicated to navigate than anyone had expected, and as we hunted for Rose Garden a lot of high heel shoes were removed and bottles opened to make the most of the mayhem.
The day ended as it began… this time in Charlie’s dad’s pub in Islington for a good ol’ knees up reception!
