Sam & Elan | Upwaltham Barns Wedding West Sussex

Samantha and Elan chose the wonderful Upwaltham Barns in West Sussex for their summer wedding. There were lots of personal touches to the decorations; the reception barn was decorated in bunting which Sam had made from her dad’s old shirts, and the flowers were placed in old chemistry bottles which Sam and Elan had been collecting for months in advance.

The barns are surrounded by countryside, which we took advantage of by walking down the lane to a stunning corn field for their couple shots. It was such a fun filled and personal day, and Sam had a smile to die for! They wrote their own vows, and Elan had even written a touching poem for Sam which he read during the speeches.

Their friends also camped in the field next to the barns, so they didn’t have far to stumble at the end of the night and could all have breakfast together the next morning before heading home!
